Portellus Adds Mortgage Industry Veteran Michael Pham as Director of Technology Operations
IRVINE, Calif., Feb. 27, 2006 - Portellus Inc., a leading provider of technology solutions and services for the financial services industry, announced that Michael Pham has joined the company as director of technology operations. In this capacity, he will manage the development and project management processes for the company's mortgage-related lending automation solutions and will also oversee its Eastern European office.
Mr. Pham comes to Portellus from a top 30 national nonprime mortgage banker, Florida-based First NLC Financial Services, where he managed the lender's strategic and tactical technology planning for its five locations in the role of director of technology. While at First NLC, he supervised an array of vendor implementations, IT staff, developers, business analysts and support personnel for various hardware and software implementations. Mr. Pham also was responsible for successfully establishing and streamlining technology policies, processes and procedures to effectively manage First NLC's rapid growth rate. Prior to First NLC, he held positions at Option One Mortgage Company as business applications manager, at National Realty Trust Inc. as development manager and at Computer Sciences Corp. as senior systems programmer.
At Portellus, Mr. Pham will lead rapidly growing technology operations and fulfillment teams of more than 50 software engineers in both the United States and overseas. Additionally, he will be responsible for new client resource planning involving the company's loan origination system (LOS), enterprise rules management (ERM) solution and point-of-sale portals. Collectively, Pham has more than 10 years of technology and business experience in the mortgage banking industry.
