According to officials at Mortgage Technology, a company that is granted the right to be listed on the Top 25 Vendors list must demonstrate that it has met four major criteria: 1) customer satisfaction 2) functionality 3) market share 4) viable revenue model. The publication states that it is crucial that the vendors on the magazine's list have satisfied clients and exhibit the ability to retain them by keeping those customers apace of the technology deployed by competing lenders. The demonstration of functional value to lenders is said to be the list's most important selection criterion, and vendors must show the ability to keep its clients apace of competing technology.
