Portellus Announces Plans to Expand Sales and Marketing Force
IRVINE, Calif., July. 6, 2006 - Portellus Inc., a leading provider of technology solutions and services for the financial services industry, announced that it will add to its sales and marketing department as part of the company's growth strategy. The new hires will provide the company with additional resources to satisfy an increasing demand for its suite of next-generation technology automation solutions.
The company plans to recruit senior sales executives, sales engineers, inside sales representatives and various marketing personnel. The new additions will place a strong emphasis on demand generation, direct sales and branding activities.
Last month Portellus announced that it moved to a facility double the size of its previous building in order to prepare for further operational growth. Company officials say that a significant portion of the new facility has been allocated to allow the sales and marketing department to scale up over the next two years.

Over the past 18 months Portellus has nearly doubled its staff, requiring the firm to move twice to accommodate its rapid expansion. Portellus currently has offices in Irvine, Calif. and Eastern Europe, and plans to double its sales personnel by year end.
