Test Utility & Test Manager
Quality Assurance is an integral part of any development process. As the rule base grows and rule flow becomes more complex, an analysis tool that allows "debugging" of values and rule states during the rule tree execution becomes paramount. There are two environments within PRIME to facilitate testing of rules: the Test Utility and the Test Manager. The Test Manager and Test Utility allow for the testing and debugging of business rules. Rule writers can trace precedents, antecedents, step through rule execution, and view intermediate calculations. Test values can be submitted in individual or batch mode for evaluation purposes. The Test Utility allows for testing of individual rules, matrices, or entire programs. The Test Manager allows business users to perform regression tests on changes made to the rule base by submitting batch input/test data against the original and modified rule sets.
